PowerPort 3.65 kW

The Lumos® PowerPort^TM is a turnkey 3.65kW solar installation that can be delivered anywhere and setup in a day. This innovative structure provides shade in the summer, protection from snow and rain, and creates electricity. The PowerPort^TM is most often installed for use as an automobile carport; it can also be used as a pergola, picnic area, or pool side shade structure. Multiple PowerPorts^TM can be connected to provide shade or covered parking for a virtually unlimited area - great for commercial, municipal, or government installations.

The steel structure is manufactured from ASTM A500 Grade B steel. The uprights are 5x5 inch 11-gauge tubular steel. The cross beams are 2x6 inc 3/16 inch wall steel. Corner brackets are custom laser cut 1/4 inch ASTM A36 steel. Mounting feet are 10x 10 inch 3/8 inch steel plate with 4 pre-drilled anchoring holes. The entire structure is designed to handle critical snow, wind, and seismic loads and comes complete with a professional engineering stamp.

The Lumos® PowerPort^TM comes complete with 18 Suntech solar panels. The SMA Sunny Boy inverter is ready for electrical grid interconnection. Local rebates for PV systems may apply. The Lumos® PowerPort^TM is also eligible for the 30% Federal Tax credit.
