Policy
This policy covers how the All Things Renewable Online Store treats personal
information that we collect and receive from you (such as your name, address,
email address, phone number, credit card, and any other information that is not
otherwise publicly available) and the security of our website.
Confidentiality and
Security
All Things Renewable is a secure place to shop
online.
We operate the All Things Renewable Online Store through Nitrosell, which uses
industry-standard SSL encryption to protect data transmissions. When you enter
your credit card number into the order form, it is transmitted across the
Internet in an encrypted (scrambled) form. All Things Renewable does NOT retain
sensitive authentication data subsequent to authorization, such as CVV2 data,
PIN numbers and card validation codes. Account numbers are either masked,
encrypted, or both. Employees of All Things Renewable do not have access to
credit card information.
The All
Things Renewable store limits access to personal information about you to
employees who we believe reasonably need to come into contact with that
information to provide products or services to you or in order to do their
jobs. We have physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect
personal information about you.
When
you make a purchase through the All Things Renewable online store, we will ask
you for your name, billing and shipping addresses, email address, telephone
number, and credit card information.
If you send
us personal correspondence, such as emails or letters, we may collect such
information. If your comments are a positive reflection on our business, products or services they may be shared with the press or made publicly
available. We may use that information and other information that we obtain
from your use of our site to resolve disputes, troubleshoot problems and
enforce our agreement for Terms of Use.
We may share aggregate statistics about our sales, traffic patterns and related
site information with other businesses, but these statistics will include no
personally identifying information.
All Things
Renewable may send you email communications on upcoming seminars,
sustainability news, or special offers. You may opt out of receiving email
communications at any time by following the unsubscribe instructions in any
email received.
When
entering any of our contests or prize drawings, you provide your name,
telephone number, email address and mailing address. If you win, we will notify
you by phone or email and require you to complete an affidavit of eligibility
prior to claiming your prize. When you enter a contest or drawing you are also
included in our email communication list for upcoming seminars, sustainability
news, and special offers. You may opt out of receiving email communications at
any time by following the unsubscribe instructions in any email received.
We cannot
ensure that all of your private communications and other personally
identifiable information will never be disclosed in ways not otherwise
described in this Privacy Statement. For example, we may be required to
disclose information to the government or third parties under certain
circumstances, or third parties may unlawfully intercept or access
transmissions or private communications. We can (and you authorize us to)
disclose any information about you to law enforcement or other government
officials as we, in our sole discretion, believe necessary or appropriate in
connection with an investigation of fraud, intellectual property infringements,
or other activity that may be illegal or may expose us to legal liability.
We do not
rent, sell, or share personal information about you with other people or
organizations except to provide products or services you've requested (such as
site evaluations for solar/wind installations or energy audits) or when we have
your permission, except as required by law.
Cookies
Cookies are small files which store certain information about your activity on
the website and are stored on your computers hard drive. Our cookies do not contain
any personally identifying information. We use cookies to let us know that you
are a prior customer, so that you don’t have to reenter information you gave us
on your prior visits. Most web browsers automatically accept cookies, but most
allow you to instruct your browser to prevent the use of cookies. However, if
you disable cookies, you will not be able to use certain features of this
website.

Changes to Privacy Statement; Consent
We may update this Privacy Statement from time to time. You should check this
page periodically for changes. By using our site, you consent to the collection

Returns
You may return merchandise to any All Things Renewable store or by mail within
30 days of purchase to
PO Box 1357, Golden, CO 80402. All returns must be made in
original condition, include all packaging and accessories, and be accompanied
by the original receipt, gift receipt, or internet order confirmation.
Returns
received after 30 days or without a receipt may be refused by All Things Renewable.
Exceptions
The following items are not returnable:
- Shipping & handling charges
- Labor and/or installation services
- Items that are abused
- Items without original packaging
- Items not in resellable condition
- Custom order items, including furniture or
artwork
- Composters and composting equipment
Restocking Fee
A 20% restocking fee will be charged on any returnable special-order products,
products shipped from the manufacturer, or products not normally carried in
stock, including, but not limited to, renewable energy system components, solar
panels, wind turbines, batteries, and flooring. These fees apply unless the
item is defective or damaged, you received the wrong item, or the fee is
prohibited by law.
Missing Item or Damaged Product Fee
A missing item or damaged product fee will be charged for any product missing
the original box, packaging material, contents, accessories and/or manuals
(i.e., any product not in "like new" condition).
Damaged, Defective or Incorrect Items
If you return a damaged, defective or incorrect item to All Things Renewable,
you will receive a credit. You may then choose to purchase a replacement item
in the store or online.
Shipping
Policy
Most orders will ship the
following business day, provided the product ordered is in stock. Orders are
not shipped on Saturday, Sunday, or holidays.
We cannot guarantee when an order will
arrive. Consider any shipping or transit time offered to you by All Things
Renewable or other parties only as an estimate. We encourage you to order in a
timely fashion to avoid delays caused by shipping or product availability.
Additional residential delivery fees may
apply for large items shipped via freight, including, but not limited to, solar
panels, wind turbines, poles, and flooring.
All Things Renewable reserves the right to
cancel an order, require that the order be shipped to the cardholder billing
address, or delay shipment of any order for the purposes of credit card
authentication and/or fraud investigation.
Special-Order products
There may be times when the product you have ordered is not normally carried in
stock, is a special-order item, or is shipped from the manufacturer. We will
keep you informed of any products you have ordered that meet these conditions,
and you may choose to cancel your order at any time prior to shipping. Orders
for custom-built products or under separate purchase agreement cannot be
cancelled.
Taxes
All Things Renewable shall automatically charge and withhold the applicable
sales tax for orders to be delivered to addresses within Colorado. For orders
shipped to other states, you are solely responsible for all sales taxes or
other taxes.
Typographical Errors
In the event a product is listed at an incorrect price due to typographical
error or error in pricing information, All Things Renewable shall have the
right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for product listed at the incorrect
price. All Things Renewable shall have the right to refuse or cancel any
such orders whether or not the order has been confirmed and your credit card
charged. If your credit card has already been charged for the purchase and your
order is canceled, All Things Renewable shall immediately issue a credit
to your credit card account in the amount of the incorrect price
